Project Background and Requirements
Located in a village by Erhai Lake in Dali, the rooftop terrace faces Mount Cangshan and the historic city's roofline. The interior design features beige-cream walls, charcoal-finished wood paneling, and arched windows and doors. The client requested furniture that maintains a relaxed vacation vibe while resisting wear from high UV exposure and frequent rain. All furnishings must be installed before the peak season begins.
Solutions and Supporting Content
The rooftop terrace and poolside feature rattan armchairs, woven chaise lounges, and lightweight round tables for easy mobility, cleaning, and storage. The living room fireplace area includes a solid wood pedestal round table paired with caramel-orange upholstered chairs, creating an intimate gathering spot for winter warmth. The dining area showcases a charred black wood long table with slat-back chairs, complemented by a woven pendant light that casts a warm glow. Guest rooms are designed with light gray upholstered headboards, window-side tea tables, woven wall mirrors, and bar cabinets as cohesive units, with dedicated spaces for lounge chairs reserved near the arched windows and terrace doors.
Delivery and Service Key Points
Schedule production in three batches: terraces, public areas, and guest rooms. Apply sun-protective and moisture-resistant treatments to outdoor furniture. Use reinforced packaging for transport to navigate narrow village roads. Schedule installation to avoid conflicts with soft furnishings and landscaping. Conduct zone-by-zone acceptance upon completion, and provide seasonal storage and maintenance guidelines for the outdoor furniture.
